Lovely lunch today, the staff went out of their way to accommodate my complex dietary needs. Would recommend the seabass. Thank you 😊

I really enjoyed the visit. Food was great and even the wood fire was started up to keep us warm. Plenty of space for the dogs. Would recommend. 👍🏻

Only had food so can't comment on rooms. Service was good. Food great. Only 4 not 5 as they'd sold out of the special I had fish & chips instead which were great. Mushy peas as an alternative to fresh please!

It's a well kept place to stay, with a decently modern outfitting of some fairly old buildings. The staff were great, food was excellent, rooms were clean, comfortable and warm.

Amazing place to stop. I was 4 nights and i definitely will recommend this place to stop. Free breakfast. Nice location 10 miles drive to Snowdon or go to coastline 5 miles and meet sunset. Quite location amazing view from window. If i go to North Wales again, i will come to this hotel again.

Visited for lunch. Cosy pub, friendly attentive staff. Great choice, varied menu. Good food at a decent price.

The Inn is easy to find via satnav and there is on street parking around. The staff were brilliant , from checking in to leaving nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The breakfast choices were good and promptly served and a good size portion. I had one vegan breakfast one day (vegan sausages were really tasty) and a full cooked Welsh breakfast the next. The room itself was small but clean and tidy with all the facilities needed , the en suite shower room was good enough. The bed was comfortable enough but road noise and early morning deliveries to a nearby shop woke me up on the first night. The second night I slept like a log though, Excellent value for a 2 night stay - a very quite village which has 2 bars and a chippy. The Spar store closes early at 18.30 hrs though. I would stay here again due to the great price and it's a nice place.

Air conditioning would make a positive difference, also blackout curtains would help.

We stayed at the Golden Fleece in August for a wedding in Portmerion. We had a lovely stay here!! We had breakfast included by booking directly with them. The food at breakfast was amazing and we ate at the inn for our first evening there and the portion sizes were massive!! Definitely would return when we come back to the area.

This was mine and the wifes first time at this fabulous little inn. The rooms were a good size and had on-suite. The bar and dining area were very spacious, and the service was great. The food was also delicious. If you do decide to visit, please try the cheese cake (if you can) because it's probably the best I've ever tasted. Would highly recommend visiting this lovely little quaint inn. Will definitely visit again.

Upgraded for free by a delightful lady (thank you so much) but the room heating was not great. Breakfast service is designed round walk-ins, which I don't really like. Sadly, dirty glass ware and mugs were offered to us on both days which really needs to be addressed. This is a great location in the heart of a beautiful area and I would stay again but I would like to see some changes.

Double room overlooking the square. Old building & so quite quirky with sloping floor. Very clean. Location ideal for exploring the area. Toiletries, tea & coffee facilities, biscuits, iron, ironing board & hairdryer all provided. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Bar meal we had one night was ok but just average & nothing special. Staff friendly. We always got parked eventually but was very busy & spaces not always available. Only negatives if I had to mention any was the toilet noise - disturbed us through the night but got to take into account the age of the building. Don't know what could be done about it but it was very noisy. Also, the music from the bar was very loud & we could hear the beat booming well after 10pm at night & just after 8am. The evening noise of it disturbed us trying to sleep due to location of room. Overall, good value for money & lovely location.

For the food would certainly recommend. Can't comment on the accommodation. One tip - leave enough room for dessert!

Just great. Food is good but not outstanding (that's isn't a criticism). Price was very reasonable indeed. Marginally more than a Premiere Inn but better on every way. Staff were fabulous. Our room was perfect, very clean, very nice. Mattress was okay, but not great (but that is clearly a personal thing, it was just a bit too soft for me). Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again

The online advertising gave the impression of the overnight accommodation being within a public house environment. It was not. Room key just handed to me and pointed at a building up the road. There is no allocated car parking and there is difficult parking in general. The room I was given was smelly and hot in what feels more like a low grade bedsit block than a quality b&b. The accommodation was a good deal more expensive than my previous nights and was nowhere near as good in any way. Noisy services as in taps and toilets from other rooms, very noisy. Voices of other guests easy to hear from above. Floor sloping and bed very soft and uncomfortable. I would not recommend overnighting in the accommodation I was given. The breakfast in the pub, was however excellent.
